Installation Issues Can Be Fixed!
If you have downloaded our software and are having any installation problems--please let us know (support@ezchildsupport.com or 256.586.2805). We are eager to help you start using E-Z Child Support™ (EZCS) as soon as possible.
We currently utilize an online interactive remote assistance service, Cisco's GoToAssist™ (which is as secure as internet banking), to instantly view and control our customers' computers for the fastest service.
Our Online Support Process: We create a unique online support session and e-mail an invitation link to that session to you. Upon clicking that link, you will be directed to download a bit of software and then are instantly connected to the support session. We then remotely view and control your computer--while you watch--to solve the problem just as if we were sitting at your desk.
Not only are we able to quickly diagnose and correct EZCS™ issues, but often we can correct your underlying Windows XP & Vista problems and are pleased to do so. The Alabama legal community has been good to us, and we're happy to give something back when possible.
Most Common Problem: While few customers experience installation issues, the most common problem encountered relates to Microsoft® SQL Server Express. Our research has led to a solution, and the problem is easily fixed.
The problem occurs when SQL Server Express (Service Pack 2) has been previously installed on a computer prior to attempting to install EZCS™--or any other program that requires SQL Server. The latest update to SQL Server is in Service Pack 3, and it cannot be installed on top of the older version. Microsoft® Support is aware of this problem.
